Insulation Technician

As an Insulation Technician, you have a varied job where you work independently and together with colleagues on insulation, (dis)assembly, and sealing jobs. You apply the right techniques and materials based on the work description. The work is carried out at different locations, both indoors and outdoors, sometimes at heights or in small spaces. If necessary, you will participate in the standby service.

Your key responsibilities

You are responsible for the correct, safe execution of insulation work.

Preparing and performing insulation work. You independently prepare and execute insulation, (dis)assembly, and sealing work. These activities include, for example, applying insulation material to equipment installations, pipes, and fittings, and assembling sheet metal, in addition to finishing insulation material with various techniques.

Monitoring safety, quality, and productivity. You are actively involved in safety in all work activities, by following procedures and work instructions.

Checking and maintaining equipment. You check and maintain machinery, tools, and safety equipment.

Communicating with customers. You inform customers about the progress and planning of the work.

Guiding (apprentice) Insulation Technicians. You support (apprentice) Insualtion Technicians in learning the job and guide them when necessary.

Who are you?

You are a real team player who takes pride in delivering results and seeing the outcome of your efforts:

• Secondary education working and thinking ability level

• VCA and a category B driver’s license

• Work experience in industrial insulation

• Proficiency in Dutch, and some English and/or German
