Metal Sheet Worker

As a Metal Sheet Worker at Altrad, you work on assembling prefab constructions based on technical drawings. You use techniques such as cutting, forming, rolling, and seaming, and check the dimensions and quality of your work. In addition, you support the Workshop Supervisor.

Your key responsibilties
Together with the team in the workshop, you ensure that the work runs smoothly.

You assemble and process sheet metal constructions. You process sheet material by, for example, cutting, forming, rolling, and seaming, and assemble individual parts into a prefab construction.

You check whether everything is correct in terms of dimensions and quality. You ensure that products meet quality requirements and that PPE is properly used and maintained.

Supporting the Workshop Supervisor. You support the Workshop Supervisor with a few administrative and coordinating tasks and take over leadership duties during their holidays.

Who are you?

You have a hands-on mindset, think in solutions, and know how to get things done.

• Secondary education working and thinking ability level

• VCA and a category B driver’s license

• Work experience in industrial insulation

• Proficiency in Dutch, and some English and/or German
