Sheet Metal Worker

As a Sheet Metal Worker at Altrad, you are responsible for assembling prefab constructions based on technical drawings. You use techniques such as cutting, forming, rolling, and seaming, and checking measurements and quality.

Your key responsibilities

Together with the workshop team, you ensure that all activities in the workshop run smoothly.

Reading technical drawings. You read technical drawings and determine the appropriate working method, techniques, and materials.

Processing and assembling sheet metal constructions. You process sheet material by cutting, bending, rolling, and seaming, and you assemble individual components into a prefabricated construction.

Checking dimensions and quality. You ensure that products meet the required quality standards and that PPE is used and maintained correctly.

Who are you?

You are hands-on, solution-oriented, and skilled with tools. Additionally, you have:

• Secondary education working and thinking ability level

• At least 5 year of experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• VCA certificate and a category B driver’s license

• Proficiency in Dutch and English
