Foreman Painting

As Foreman Painting, you lead the work on location and supervise a team of construction painters. You also work yourself, ensure the highest safety, quality, and efficiency, and always keep an eye on the planning. You maintain close contact with the supervisor and the customer to ensure that everything goes according to plan and regulations.

Your key responsibilities

You are responsible for the correct, safe execution of painting work.

Performing painting activities. Independently carrying out all kinds of painting activities on various structures.

Preparing quality reports. Performing dew point and dry film thickness measurements and preparing reports based on the results.

Monitoring safety, quality, and productivity. Ensuring that the work permit is signed in advance and the activities are released. Then, you monitor that the execution proceeds according to the planning and in accordance with safety and work instructions.

Leading a team of construction painters. You manage a team of (apprentice) construction painters and temporary workers, provide clear work instructions, and delegate where necessary. Additionally, you ensure that (apprentice) construction painters are well guided, trained, and coached.

Monitoring material stocks. Monitoring material stocks (coatings and other consumables) and proactively communicating ordering needs to the supervisor.

Maintaining contact with customers, supervisors, and project managers. You inform them about the progress and any issues.

Who are you?

You are a committed foreman who communicates clearly, leads the team in a positive way, and collaborates well with various stakeholders. In addition, you have:

• Experience in leading and coordinating painting activities

• VCA-VOL and job-specific courses

• Proficiency in Dutch, and some English and/or German

• Category B driver’s license
