Job description

As a Rope Access Supervisor (IRATA3), you lead a team of Rope Access Technicians levels 1 and 2 in performing work at height, such as insulation, inspection, painting, mechanical work, and rigging, ensuring their workplaces are accessible. You guide colleagues and contribute to the team's growth.

What are you responsible for?

You lead rope access projects at height with a focus on safety, team strength, and flawless execution.

Ensuring correct execution of work. You, together with your team, ensure safe and correct execution of various rope access work at height.

Work preparation. You ensure that work permits and project plans are reviewed, rescue plans are prepared, and for the execution of LMRA's.

Team leadership. You manage a team of Rope Access Technicians (levels 1 and 2) on safety, quality, and productivity, actively supporting them in their professional development.

Project management. You take responsibility for projects and prepare reports for daily, weekly, and project-specific progress.

Job requirements

What do you bring?

  • MBO work and thinking level

  • IRATA level 3 certificate and experience in the industry/petrochemical sector

  • VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it

  • Driver's license B

  • Willingness to work on standby and call-out services, for which you will receive extra compensation

  • You are flexibly deployable in the Rotterdam region and at various locations in the Netherlands, both onshore and offshore

  • Knowledge of MS Office

  • Good command of Dutch and English language in speech and writing
